We had a great day today! Allison one of our little baby girls got adopted today. She went to live with another little baby girl Little Macy, who is the cutest piggie! They got introduced and Allison came out of her cozy sak and was cleaning Macy and Macy started to popcorn and we knew they were a great match. They did so well and even went home with a nice cozy sak for the two of them to share. We hope they are having the time of their lives and wish them the best. Another Happy Day! Today a bonded pair of girls found their forever home. Our girls that were featured on the main page of our petfinder Willow & Brooke have found their forever home! A family was looking to add a pet to their family and found us. They brought their two little girls who wanted to be the caretaker of their own pet. The two girls walked around the rescue and loved on each and everyone of the piggies, but found Willow & Brooke to be the calmest. Willow & Brooke had a bad start by being dropped off at PetCo but found their way here and we have found them a forever home. We are so happy for them, and can't wait to hear updates from the new Mommies.

We had another great day, Two of our adoptables found their forever home. Farrah and Hannah were paired up after each of them did not get along with their cagemates. We paired them up because they were two more dominant piggies and it worked great. They worked out their dominance issues and became great friends even sharing the same pigloo. Farrah and Hannah went to live with a family with two young boys who will be their caretakers, they got a huge cage for them and can't wait to spend time with them doing their homework. Today was a happy day! Two of our adoptables got a forever home! A family that had lost their guinea pig and had another guinea pig that was lonely without her cagemate came to the rescue to find her new friends! :) She got along so well with Bobbie & Miley and the family fell in love with them, they brought them both home. They bought a huge cage and we know they are going to get all the love and extra veggies they deserve! :) We are so very happy for all of them! Today was a great day. Vanessa found her forever home! A returning adopter came and fell in love with Vanessa. She's a real sweetheart and she's going to live happily with two other females, that were also adopted from our rescue. We are so happy that she found her forever home, being as that her former caretaker just got rid of her because her "newness" wore off. We are happy that she is home and happy with her new family. We've been super busy here at the rescue. We have added many new adoptable listings and updated the pictures of the listing that were already up. We just love the pink pok-a-dot background!! Patch got adopted today. Along with her new friend Ariel. Today is a very exciting day for us because Patch was born here at the rescue, and we saw her being born. It's great to see Patch finally get a forever home where she will grow up to be a chubby girl with all the love and attention she's going to get. Patch has grown so much since being born, but she has alot of growing to do and it's great she'll be doing that growing in her forever home. Ariel was brought to the rescue with her "friends" but those friends beat her up, so she was put in the cage with all the other female piggies, and she found friends. We caught her many times in the smae pigloo as Patch and it's great that they are both together in a home where their mother loves them very much.

July 1st, 2008

Today was a very busy day, but a very happy day as well. We had two sets of adoptions today. Annie & Sandy got adopted to a family full of love for animals. They brought their current lonely guinea pig here to find her a couple of friends and she became pals with Annie & Sandy a bonded pair here at the rescue. They were yelling over pigloos but settled their differences quickly and were snuggling together in one pigloo. We are so happy for them. Also Brittany and Phoebe were adopted to a young girl and her family, she bought them a huge 2x5 cage so that they have enough space to run around every morning begging for veggies. We are so happy for them as well.

We are so thrilled to let everyone know that Glenda & Norma Jean have finally found their forever home! They have been with us here at the rescue almost from the start which it's been quite awhile that they've been waiting. They are more then thrilled to finally be the ones getting a forever home. They went to live with two wonderful ladies who are going to dote on their every move. We are so thrilled for them.

Georgette & Abagail got adopted today!!! They came into the rescue pregnant but sadly both lost their babies, but have fully recovered and were ready to find that forever home. They were adopted by a loving family who needed some friends for their lone guinea pig. It worked out great. Georgette & Abagail tugged at their hearts when they visited the rescue. They are going to so happy in their new forever home, and we wish them the best of luck!

Today was a happy day. We drove to Monroeville to meet up with Archie & Alister's new Mommy. She was so excited about getting her new boys home. She even made them a Welcome card! They are going to live in a huge C&C cage with lots of extra veggies and lots of love. We know she is madly in love with her boys, just go and check out her Happy Tail Photo, it shows it there. We are so happy for these guys because they came from such a horrible situation to now having a Mommy who adores them. We are so happy for them.

Today was a long day, but a great one. Niles and Alfred got adopted together to a wonderful family where they are going to live with another male to keep him company in a large C&C cage and have doting caretakers. Their new family took two buses and waited hours in a bus station so that they could adopt these beautiful guys. We met them in Allentown, PA. Which is quite a drive but worth every mile of it. They are a wonderful family and I know for sure that Niles & Alfred are going to have a blast being the center of attention.

April 24th, 2008

Today was a great day. We had one of our favorite adopters come back and adopt again from us. They adopted Ella. I know she is going to have such a wonderful life, and we know that she will be well taken care of and have lots of friends to play with. Also Today Finley went home with a new friend. He had been lonely when he first came to the rescue, but today he met his friend and his friend is twice his size. They get along so well, and they are going to live in a Huge C&C cage and get super spoiled together. We also added two more pairs of adoptables, We added Willow & Brooke who are a pair of chubby girls. Also we added Archie & Alister, a pair of unique younger males. So be sure to check them out.

Today was a happy day. Sassy got adopted. She went to live with two chubby girls that she thinks she can boss around and steal their veggies. She is going to live in a Huge C&C cage and get spoiled like the Princess she is. She's going to have such a wonderful life and we can't be more excited about it!!

Today Layla & Lilly got adopted! Layla and Lilly got adopted by a wonderful family that has a love for all animals. They have rescued all their animals in the past and after their rescued mouse passed away, it was finally time for them to give a lovely forever home to new animals, and they fell in love with two wonderful girls. Today Eleanor and Madame Mim got adopted! After much thought and discussion, we decided to personally adopt Madame Mim and Eleanor. They have been apart of our family since day one, so finally we made it official. Today Cronus, Napoleon & Lafayette got adopted! Today Giles was adopted! He has been so lonely since the passing of his friend and bonded cagemate Wesley. We did try to find him a cagemate but no one worked out. Today Tiger was adopted! We are more then thrilled with this because we thought he would never get along with another boar but he did. A girl came with her 2 year old boar Mushu and after some time they got along fine. Tiger is going to have so much fun in his new home, we wish him and his Momma and Mushu the best! We added two more Adoptables Piggies to the list. Rex is a single black and rust chubby short hair boy, who is very laid back and loves to be held. Ash, who just happens to be Rex's son is an almost all black with two little spots of rust short hair boy. He is still a little skittish but once you hold him close he feels safe and content. I added more pages to the rescue. Alot of people have been inquiring about starter packages when they adopt. So they have everything they need to start a happy and healthy life for their guinea pig. Also we are now offering pre-built C & C Cages. It comes with everything needed to make a spacious cubes & coroplast cage for your piggies :)

Today here is alot of updates! Sadly Bridget has been brought back to the Rescue due to her new owner having allergies. But we have made progress with Bridget and is now with another much younger female and is getting along with her. There is still hope for our Kitty-Pig yet :) Also Sadly Emma has lost her sister Trixie. She has been checked out by the vet and has a clean bill of health. So we would really like Emma to go to a home with other females to keep her company. On top of all that, we have added two very special boys to the Adoptables Page, Templeton & Ludo are a bonded pair of boys who are so adorable but need extra love and care. Today four of our boys found forever a forever home! Tribbles, Nibbles, Chanticleer & Jerry Lee went to their forever home where they will get attention and love all the time from their new family :) They are now living in a very large C & C Cage where they get spoiled daily! We are so happy for them and their new family and we can't wait to hear updates!

We recently made a trip to Erie, Pa to pick up 6 PEW's that were set to be euthanized, some of them are terrified because they came from a lab and weren't handled and had no contact with other guinea pigs. They are getting socialized and given time to get used to human contact. We hope that eventually they can find great homes. We have started a Fill The Tank Fund, with all the driving we've been doing picking up piggies and the rise of gas prices, we are asking for some help. Every little bit helps. We have been working on the website for awhile now and have finally worked out all the kinks. We have put up our first listing Father & Son Bonded Pair Please take a look. Hopefully they find a great home. We are going to continue to put up more listings as the guinea pigs we get go to the vet, get some socialization and go through their couple of weeks of guarantine.
